Our CommitmentRisk Management Philosophy

Delta Tau Lambda Sorority, Inc. is committed to empowering each member to reach her fullest potential through sisterhood, academic excellence, leadership, and community service. To support that mission, Delta Tau Lambda upholds the following Risk Management Philosophy:

  • All members are expected to follow local, state, and federal laws and university policies, and to uphold the values, policies, and expectations of Delta Tau Lambda Sorority, Inc.
  • All members are responsible for making decisions and taking actions that promote a culture of care and accountability, prioritizing the safety and well-being of themselves, their sisters, their chapter, and their campus community.
  • When risk, safety, or policy issues arise, we engage members, advisors, and leadership in a collaborative effort to identify and address root causes through education, reflection, and prevention.

We believe that when we provide opportunities for meaningful reflection, education, and training, we reduce the likelihood that risk, safety, or policy issues occur.
